The Business Administration program offers the opportunity to gain practical job skills and real world experience throughout your education.

You’ll have the opportunity to interact with guest speakers from your industry, rub elbows with potential employers at networking breakfasts, visit manufacturing operations to see business in action, and participate in lunch and learn seminars with your peers.

Regular Profile
Business Placement – students gain valuable insight on creating resumes, interview techniques, and prepare for their work placement.

Work Placement – students are required to find a work placement in their field of interest. They will complete a total of 84 hours on-the-job and will gain the hands-on experience and practical skills valued by employers.

Co-op Profile
Work 101 – a specialized employment preparation course that teaches students how to write resumes, apply for jobs and research job postings. Students participate in mock interviews and are provided with suggestions to help them prepare for the real thing. It’s all about getting a job and we show you how.

Co-op Placement – students work for two 12-week summer work terms gaining paid work experience in their field. Faculty members visit students on location to ensure they are gaining good business experience.
